While have price tiers if buyers can't see them on the product pages. Sure when a buyer enters a qty, the price changes, but that is after the fact. What is needed is a dynamic price tier table that has the option to show up on all product display pages. I have asked for this since v2.5. They they agree it makes sense, it still hasn't been done. I can't believe I am the only one requesting this. Does no one else offer price volume discounts? If you do, how do your customers know this if volume pricing doesn't show up on the product pages. I personally think Viart has a good product, but I can't use it until this feature has been added.

Agreed, kinda silly to hide price information from the user.

We hacked up a block to do this but it broke after the last update (until we see developer docs, we decided against coding any further enhancements).

As a work around, we defined a specification group called "Price Breaks". We entered text:

1-10 $9.99
11-100 $8.99
100+ $7.99

to describe the price breaks. Ugly, but it got the job done. Hopefully this becomes a core feature.

I thought I found the perfect cart software with ViArt but not having better pricing formats is a deal killer for me. We must have wholesaling pricing schema. So, our search continues for the perfect cart software...

WILLH, if you can't find a cart with all the features you need you can commission Viart to add what you need Smile

Dear All,

We are planning to include the price matrix to our nearest final release 3.5 which is planned for issuing in about a week.

With kind regards,

Thank you Anjula. We can certainly wait a week. I've reviewed probably 10-15 cart packages in recent weeks and ViArt and Avactis appear to be the ones to watch. Hard to find everything we need in one package so we will have to prioritize based on importance. Will be looking for your latest release with great anticipation.

This is great. Having deployed this many times, I have 1 suggestion that will head off some future frustration for clients and store owners. When available inventory level falls below a price break, hide that price break from the user. Customers get annoyed when they see a price break they they cannot have because of inventory levels are too low.

For instance if inventory available is 100, show something like this:

10+ $9.00
24+ $7.00
96+ $5.00

If the available inventory drops to 95, show this:
10+ $9.00
24+ $7.00

For the future (I know this is deeper in the quantity break logic). Have checkbox that disable price breaks all for a product. This is important when products are put 'on-sale', particularly in bigger shops where you may have 100+ items on sale at any given time. When sale prices conflict with QBs customers and administrators get really confused!
