Hello,

California has 2 different tax rates.
San Diego County is currently 8.75% and the rest of the state is 8.25%

Can we separate these somehow? By zip code maybe, or .... ?

Thanks.

They already have this feature in ViArt

Really, that's fantastic, thanks. But I don't see it anywhere. I'm running version 3.5

I'm on this page of the manual as well and don't see any reference: http://www.viart.com/setting_up_shopping_cart_tax_rates.html

In 3.6 you can create a new tax rate in "Orders > Tax Rates" and link that to a particular geographic area. You can also change the shipping tax for the new rate as well as override the new rate for particular product types.

Yes, you need to be on 3.6. Ned is correct.

I'm trying to do this too, but it is not working. Under 4.0.5, you can create a tax rate by STATE and COUNTRY, but within a specific STATE, the individual COUNTIES (not COUNTRIES) is not selectable.
Has anyone been able to implement COUNTIES (a smaller division of the STATE ?)

If we could do it by zip code, that would be awesome too. (We have 4 tax rates we have to deal with for Colorado orders.) Is this doable in 4.0?
