Each static table contains a number of predefined values used in different parts of the system. Many static tables you have already encountered as they have links in the left navigation menu as well e.g. Product Types, Manufacturers, Shipping Times, Shipping Rules. Most of the static tables are very simple and shouldn't cause any difficulties, it is enough to click on the static table name and then on 'Edit' next to the available value or 'Add New' if you would like to add a new value, and then click 'Update' button to save the changes.
